Sick

Great I now have a cold to add to my sore jaw..AND I think I have a sty in my eye...Sigh....I am falling apart! Harley is sick as well....

I am seriously doubting I will get all Chrissie knitting done now..I now have to work out which is the most important.

I have finished 2 odd socks. Yes I said ODD socks...I finished up one Friday. Then was heading down to the BILs place and though there was no point in starting the second one (the pattern needs me to concentrate a little and I wouldn't get that down there)..So I just took a normal Stocking Stitch one along. Finished that up yesterday. Yes they are both part of the Chrissie knitting. I will be happy if I can finish those..And the pair for Adam's pop.

I am waiting for my next order of yarn to come in so I can dye it up and sell it off to anyone interested. I will get enough for 10 skeins of sock wool and 10 skeins of 8ply (dk) wool...Just waiting for it to come in, organise it and dye it. Hoping to get some sold before Chrissie..Will help with the hugely tight budget (being as I never got the things for Kerry finished to collect that money for Chrissie).

The BIL had a teapot thing on at her gallery yesterday (those in Tassie might have seen mention of it on free to air tv it was mentioned in the ads for the Chrissie parade down there too). She was busy while there so I thought when I got the girls back to her place I would put a few things together for dinner for us so she wouldn't bitch about it. So...I made a potato salad...and got normal potatoes in a pot to cook (for those who don't like potato salad...Shell and Adam)...and cut up some carrots to cook too...She got ADAM (who had worked from 6:30am to 3pm then had to drive an hour to get to her place) to bbq the chicken pieces..THEN had the nerve to say while sitting eating it all "that was a quick and simple dinner"!!!!! For HER maybe!! I had to deal with super tired kids (cos they WOULDN'T go to sleep til after midnight..which is pretty normal down there..thy don't sleep til real late), lack of sleep for me in an uncomfortable bed and I am sick plus do all that ! She was lucky that she actually sounds GENUINLY grateful when I told her I did it.

Making Veggie Lasagna for dinner tonight (if I have the energy). I am off..Catch you all around! Happy knitting

Hmm, last time I had a jaw ache it turned out that I'd partially dislocated my jaw and the disk had ruptured! Happily, I was able to just use muscle relaxants and a spacer bar rather than surgery. Really recommend going to a doctor - you may need a specialist referral and they ain't seeing folks until February so the sooner you get on the list the better!
