Warermelon

.

Ok here is the re-skeined Watermelon. Many of you have asked what I am going to do with it.

Well I have an online friend who showed an interested in my dying these colours before I went to the Dye In. So I did these colours. I am yet to contact her to see if she is interested in it now its done. But I dunno if I am going to keep it. I mean I might, but what would I do with it? Its 8ply (double knit) 100g with about 260meters (280yards)....

Okies I am off now. Got a friend coming over who should be here soon.

Up to sewing up the cable and ribbed jumper for Kerry too...Then the collar and its done (then just 2 pair of baby socks to do in just 2 days).

Vicki can you please email me your address again too...I keep forgetting to get in contact with you. The parcel I sent you got sent back AGAIN!!! I am starting to wonder if I am doing something wrong!! lol Maybe the postman doesnt like me....

Doesn't that look lovely skeined (is that the right word) up.

The Thuja sock pattern uses 100g of 8ply yarn if you are looking for something to make with it.

Thuja is a great idea! I was just going to say it would make a cute hat - one of those stocking stitch roll brim thingos.

You know, if your friend doesn't want it, and you can't get inspired, I could *force* myself to take it off your hands...

That yarn really came out great. I have a similar sock yarn in my stash (dyed by a much better dyer than me!!) and I've always loved that color combo. Great job!!

Nicely done! Like Karen, I've got some yarn reminiscent of these colours in my stash (Patons Tapestry, I think) but you get the smug satisfaction of knowing that you did it all yourself : )

Just love those colours together. They remind me so much of Lilypilys.
